Im trying to restore my 3000 and I need some buttons. I know this has been covered and I have taken the time to search through the forums. Im looking for the stop, play, and play start buttons in white for a 3000. I checked vst, forat, and mpc stuff. The only ones available are the grey for the le. I also checked that guy in south korea, but hes checking his stock and hasnt gave me an answer. Just checking in to see if there are any other options. I even looked into making my own plastic molds. Havent sat down to do it yet, but I guess its an option. Any help would be appreciated

I didnt expect too many responses, considering parts are so hard to find, but Yo my guy came thru in south korea. Crazyanalog. Copped the play, play/start, and stop buttons in white. Stuff is hard to find. Not to mention, I hit a repair shop up here in the Chi and caught a new set of the rec and overdub buttons.

Nice find. Stuff is getting seriously hard to come by now. Unless you want to pay $20 for a single button like some of these places advertise.

Am looking for a new data wheel rotary knob myself. Anyone know if 's' series samplers use the same ones as the MPC 3000?

@shinigami i have an s3000xl and a mpc3000 and they look exactly the same (from the outside only) to me.. and my mpc data wheel is all scratched so was thinking i might scrap the s3000 for the data wheel and screen (dim on mpc)...but having looked at someones thread about this screen swap, wouldnt dream of doing it myself (with NO exp at all!) would also be interested to know if the data wheel swap is possible / easy...

Ok i just found out the answer to my question above - the data wheel (and the volume control knobs) just pull straight off in your hand :D (they slip off nice and smoothly no chance of damage) i have swapped the s3000xl data wheel for the mpc3000 one and there is a slight difference in depth (3000 is a mm or two deeper) but the s3000xl wheel still looks like the perfect size on the mpc3000 and there is no noticeable difference. the 3000 wheel looks maybe a little big on the s3000xl but its no biggie..
