MPC Thick Fat Pads

Been toying with getting the thick pads. Just upgraded to the newer sensors. Tried them on the 2000xl and it wasn't THAT noticeable, but maybe more so on the 1000 :/

I hate that Akai **** me so hard on these 1000 pads, not to mention their wack OS that i had to instantly outsource, and yet i've become so accustomed/fell so in love with the MPC workflow that i'll probably give them more money as soon as i have it. Love the MPC, hate their quality control. My pads are at the point now where some of them literally won't do anything. Its a daily frustration that really turns the most enjoyable part of my day into a frustration and a pain in the ass.

I think i'd be better off purchasing a 2500 at this point than throwing $200+ at some new pads. I need the extra outs and the bigger/better pads anyways.

Been thinking about going to the 2500 too. Just can't get down with the 1000 pads...

If you have the new style pads it shouldn't make a difference.
Having owned 2-1ks as well as the 2500 (among other MPs), a 1k with the new style pads shouldn't be an issue.

The 2500 I had had the classic ghost trigger problem and it's the only MP known to do this.
