Looking for a couple things....

I was wondering where (the cheapest place) i can get the HD to have it at 160gb i believe it is, and also is there a program for PC to make Programs on The 5000, like BlueBox did for my 1000?? Thanks

Also i have the dvd/cd drive, and when i power on it says 192MB, so i believe i have the MEMORY expansion already, correct??? Thanks!!!

A couple of things to help you out. At the very top of the site, there are a set of static links. One of these is called MPC RESOURCES. It should give you the links you want to PGM-makers.

As far as the memory goes, your unit is fully expanded....which rules because that memory card can't be had for cheap like the other units.

Okay thanks. I just Figured out how to make my own programs, and assign sounds by going into my HD. I had already hooked [Mount] to my CPU and added many samples. But i can see i only have a like 86gb on my hd, i cant expand to 160??? One of the MAIN reasons i bought this specific MPC, is because it already had the memory card (I know how much they cost, i did my research beforehand) and the other reason was The CD/DVD Drive was already on it as well, so i figured id find one with those already, which i did (& so i wouldnt have to buy them lol). I think i love this machine more than my NI MASCHINE, AND the 1000 i had together lol

WAIT> So the 5000, will read .pgm files from thew 1000??????!!!??? I thought they had to be in .50s????

Always back up! The 5000 can mess up your HD at times.
