The slot you are plugging the floppy cable it is for the 8 Output board

BTW you should plug that 34pin data cable in the next smaller slot, IDK how you plugged that data cable in to the 8 outputs slot, those cables are keyed which means you probably used some force to insert that cable there

brother that cable is the orignal atapi cable! and it was from the strat as i bought that mpc in that slot who could that be the wrong one? and i already used a floppy driver on that slot and it works but now not more..

If that is the ATAPI cable, then you are plugged into the wrong slot.

The cable you use MUST be plugged into the Internal IDE/ATAPI labeled connector. NOT the slot marked IB-M208P. They are both 40 pin connectors, you need to READ the silkscreen on motherboard to see where to correctly place it.

Believe me when I said you are using the wrong port, I don't really believe your floppy was connected there and worked before, there is NO way that an 8 output port could let you work as the floppy port, that would simply wont work

That's clearly not an ATAPI cable, I can clearly count the 34pins on the connector, IDE/ATAPI characteristic is 40pins, 34pins it is the floppy data cable... cuban_linx you should connect that 34pin cable into the connector on the middle of those 3... the one that you are using IS the 8 output board port, the one in the middle it is the floppy port and the 3rd it is the IDE/ATAPI (where you should connect your ZIP/CF drive)

allright dudes it works! your right it was on the wrong location wrong slot! excuse me! damn iam a no0ob. i updated last night my mpc to 1.20 for the card reader.
i have a sd card reader and i heard that the mpc dont accept sd cards which have more then 1 gb space! does anyone know how i can split a sd card?

like split a 16gb sd card to 16 seperate parts

It is called partitioning and I guess you will need to do that on a PC, honestly I never tried before since I only use 1GB CF cards

damn i found out that my headphone port just give mono sound out how can i fix that to get stereo? could that happen because the update to 1.20?

It is because you are playing mono samples

Not because the update, but if it got damaged most probably it is because you were trying to use the floppy connected to the 8outputs port
Do you have another pair of headphones to try? could be the headphones too
