MPC 1000 // JJ OS 3.12 .. Recording/Playback Volume

Whats up ya'll. I got a quick question i was hoping some people on the board have some experience that would help them answer.

I upgraded to the jj os 3.12 earlier today from the original akai os, and as i was recording a loop, i noticed as the sequence would loop back, that the drums sounded as though they were recorded at a very low volume except for a couple of the kicks or snares which would liven up and come through at regular volume. i tried to rerecord but kept experiencing the same thing.

One thing that fixed it was when i went back to the akai os (the current version). I have heard great things about the jjos so i'm hoping to use that version but if i cant figure out a way around that recording issue, i'll have to stick with the akai os.

I have the same problem, anyone find a solution have you? I would like to use the JJOS and not the original os

all i can say is that this doesn't happen with JJOS1... just buy it if you really wanna use the JJOS... you'll have more features and you'll be supporting a good cause.

if you havent found it yet, try changing the pad sensitivity. After that turn on the internal compressor from the effects tab. Click master once in that tab.
