MPC500 won't trigger Reason's on the 1.

Hi, I'm using the mpc 500 as the master to trigger my Digital Performer and Reason Rewire software. When I press play start on the mpc, Reason doesn't start on the one, so the kick I have at the very beginning can't be heard. I tried adjusting latency in DP to 126 and CPU usage in reason to 90% and the problem still persist. Any suggestions?

do you use mtc or midi clock?

however you should add an empty bar at the beginning of your sequence. this way your computer has enough time to sync to the time code.
