I am trying to take a previously recorded song in Cubase and put it into my MPC 1000. I decided to divide the song up in 4 bar sections in Cubase to bounce them down to 1MB wave files. I then imported them to my MPC 1000 hard drive and used the JJOS2XL Sequencer to place the files exactly on bar 1, 5, 9, etc...
I used 116.4 bpm just as the song was recorded in Cubase. My problem is that between bar 8 and 9 there was a little silence so it didn't line up exactly. I tried adjusting the BPM to a little faster, but this didn't work either.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do or any other approaches I can take to getting this song from Cubase to the MPC. I have a lot of space on my MPC hard drive so I was thinking about just recording the song as one long sample.
