Mpc 2000 8 outputs

Ok so maybe this is a stupid question but, if I have the 8 outs expansion and I want to eq each sound with a 16 channels mixer, how many sounds can I eq? just 8 or what?

Use the mix outs too, hard panned and you have 10 outs.
Cheap solution if you really want alot more outputs.. is to add another hw sampler.. or another mpc.. seeing as the prices keep dropping since renaissance.

ok, I don't think I'm gonna buy another mpc... and sorry im kinda a noob on this stuff but where do I get the other 2 outputs?

Another recording pass, all don't have to be recorded at the same time.

Record first 10, mute those and open/assign the last 6 and make another recording pass.

oooh ok cool thanks, I think I'm gonna do that but that's not what I meant... from what I know there's 8 outputs, but you guys are saying there's 10 or something like that right? so where are the other 2? anyways, I'm gonna do what you said, I didn't know I could record like that... :lol:

8 individual outs, you understand that part.

Now the MAIN OUTS can be hard panned left and right, essentially making them 2 more individual mono outs. There is your ten. In your mpc mixer it wont say 9 and 10 though. Knowing all this you can figure the rest out.

If your sample is stereo you will ONLY see pairs, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 in the mpc mixer.
If your sample is mono you will see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 in the mpc mixer.
Make sure you remember what your samples are.

What is that a math word problem? Use the eq on your mixer.
