I don't understand what "random quantize" is.

It's kinda an oxymoron.

What's the difference between it and turning off quantizing?

Some random notes will stick to the grid perfectly some of them not

I think it is similar to the t.c. strength not the same

Where I can find t.c strength ???

These kind of threads are killing me, over here

Random quantize ???? REALLY!?

What use would a timing correct value of "random" be? (....serious question)

You might as well pick 3 or 4 notes, and have a toddler record a sequence into the mp with timing off.

yeah I just don't get it...

Maybe if you were a robot, or a sentient MIDI sequencer, then this function would be useful.
Otherwise, we humans are pretty good at not perfectly quantizing stuff.

Randomisation (with control) would be an excellent and quick way to loosen up a programmed drum pattern.. You could manually set limitations for how far the timing were allowed to stray.. To sit and program drums that are tight but still with a human feel, where each note has subtle changes in its timing throughout a full track will take you a long time compared to going into a menu and make a change that takes a few seconds to affect a track that is as long as you want, with having to manually program every tiny and subtle change.. Assign it to the qlinks and you can tweak it in real time and go from super tight to super sloppy... It's a great idea and something I have wanted for the 4k, or even better, pattern reversal and time sig changes in real time with qlinks... Mmm so tasty...
