saving on the mpc1000

Ok so ive been using the 2000XL for 10 years, and just added a 1000. I've been saving with "everything" or "all programs" or something like that, its everything in one bundle. However once saved, it deletes the program or sequence from the last song i saved...so that when I try to re-load the last song I saved it loads the sounds but tracks & sequences show up as with the names from the new song, and will not assign to tracks in track mute or to pads. I had to go into program & re-assign every sound to pads again. Its driving me bananas....everytig is labeled differently so i dont understand the problem w/ the loading ?

also why did they change the color of the track mute from the XL, it messes with me everytime hahaha...bah!

create a new folder and save entire memory into that new folder. this is no different on the 2000xl. you should know this.

when you load, just select the folder itself and load that. press the CLEAR button when loading so that it will clear memory as well.
