sounds good. but a cradreader looks so damn unsexy in a mpc 3000. but nevertheless good work mate... i´ll stick with my external scsi drive. also very comfortable

no problem bro we all have our own tastes

I personally find having a big brick of a external next to your MPC a bit of an eye sore compared to a new internal that you barely notice. each to their own though.

plus you can then stick your MPC in a quiklok stand, without external acting like ball and chain.

hi all - here are prices

£130 fixed non hotswap - black faced single slot
£170 hotswap - white/cream ish 2 slot (you only use 1 slot)

+ postage (need tracking number, will not post by the cheapest methods available, but will supply proof of postage cost with each sale).

all MPC60 users must have the scsi expansion board fitted.

these drives work on the MPC3000 with 3.11os or 3.5os - not sure about earlier os's...

if you are serious please hit me up at [email protected] - at work at the moment so will reply to people this evening.

I have already reserved about 4, so get them while you can. this time next week they will be gone.

hotswap ones are more expensive because I have to import the drives, and they really are impossible to get cheap (have tried often). they are very very stable and well made.

I've had trouble getting some of the wiring that cheap (had to import), but but am doing what I can to keep costs as low as possible.

I personally really really recommend the hotswap ones - means you can keep different sound libraries on different cards or transfer stuff from MPC editor easily.

Just like to point out, am NOT starting this as a business venture - while helping a mate out with his CF drive someone getting Acards for me couldn't tell difference between 1 and 10, so I got stuck with 10 + postage and customs charges. So I'm just trying to get my cash back.

once these 10 are gone if there is anyone left over who needs drives I can put people in my bro Marek who has already successfully supplied a lot of people on this forum with great kits.

I sold an MPC60 to a dude called Marek last month, is it the same Polish guy by any chance?

bizare, don't know - he has a 3000, if he's got a 60 its news to me, good on him if he does. 8)

would love a 60 myself oneday - but if I got a second MPC to compliment my 3000 it would prob be a 4000, as it is more of a different machine function wise - like the idea of being able to preview sounds from disk before loading too.

UPDATE - all parts are with me now. shipping my first orders tomorrow and getting postage quotes for all the oversea's customers.

Pic of the goods is below. 1 of 10. Spending this evening running tests on the kits in my 3000, and refining my installation instructions.

Out of the 10 kits 8 are reserved - customers from Japan, France, Canada, USA, UK - spreading the love

Thanks to all people who recommended me to others and to Clint for letting me post - REALLY appreciated, I only ended up with the Acards by mistake during the process of helping a friend's customer buy a Acard. made the kits to get rid of the Acards.

These hotswap drives are next level, SO pleased a load of people will now have these - having one is the best thing I ever did for my 3000.

thanks all! please once you get your kits post on this thread to show you are happy.

I'm sure anyone who gets one of these kits that SEED78 is selling will be delighted with their purchase. If it wasn't for that guy I wouldn't have a CF drive now, the amount of help he gave me was unbelievable.

A real genuine kid with great prices, who is not in it for any sort of profit, but for the love of the 3000 community. I would highly recommend snapping up one of the last two drives!

Big up SEED78.

last 2 MPC3000/60 Hotswap CF drive internal kits now left - I might flip 1 as a S1000 kit - so first come first served, get them while you can.

Acards are mad costly, so I prob won't be doing any again any time soon.
