Question #2

My other problem......


When i go into 16 levels and go down to tuning....for some reason my cursor will not go to the right and allow me to change the number (4-12)

anyone know why?....does it have something to do with the programs? or is my cursor messed up.....because it works when i'm on the main screen and highlighting BPMs, timing, Velocity, etc

maybe try hitting the pad that you wanna start at instead of turning the number

You can't change the "original pad key". It's always 4.

i thought you could? cause when I turn the 16 level to NOTE or whatever so I can get different notes, im able to change what pad I want to the original to be on. i usually choose 12 when i want to get a deeper tone.

am i trippin or what?

This is a known issue, somebody had explained how to resolve this a while back. I'll try to find it although someone will probably be able to give you the answer before I do.

"Smoove03" I never tried the note off thing. I'll try that right now. I usually have my pads in POLY when I do this.

wait....are we talkin about the 16 level button, then changing it to the note option so you can get different notes from the same sample?

or are we talkin about the note off option in PROGRAM mode?


lol im confused. i was talkin about the 16 level button.....

I went into params and changed 3 different pads each to note off, poly and mono.

I then went into 16 levels and tried to change those same 3 pads "original key pad" and cannot change it at all.

There's no changing tuning "original key pad" in 16 levels.

I believe we're talking about the 16 level/note var/tuning/original key pad function, sometimes the MPC will not allow you to cursor over to the "4" to change the value.

Seems like your MPC is suffering from this bug to Lamp cuz you should be able to change the value from 4 - 13.

yeah i had this prob too. it would work sometimes but sometimes stay locked at 4. good lookin

Cool, er, i mean, cooocooo. I got 1.114c. I will go back in time with 1.114 and see if there is a difference.
