POLYPHONY PROBLEMS

UNTIL NOW MY MPC-1K HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT BUT RECENTLY I'VE BEEN GETTING NOTE CUT OFFS DURING RECORDING AND PLAYBACK. I KNOW THE 1K IS ONLY 32 NOTE POLYPHONY BUT I DONT HAVE 32 NOTES BEING PLAYED AT THE SAME TIME. HAS ANYONE RAN INTO THIS PROBLEM, SEQUENCING WITH THE MPC 1K? ANY TIPS OR ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

im having the same pmroblem with my mpc2000. im starting to think its my module, but if I have more then 3 playing, and I try to record another track it'll cut some notes off from other tracks. it totally flowers the whole song up. anyone know an answer?

I was having the same problem and I had found out that some how I was getting midi dump information in the middle of my sequence. I would look at your sequence in step mode to verify that there in not any exclusive event happening on any tracks. Some how it did it automatically. But I erased the event and then everything worked out fine. Good luck and let me know if this solves your problem.
