favs are prog rock and old jazz. dont care much for loops, vocals, drums or air, if its dope i'll use it - that said i love me a good loop.

Mostly 8-16 bit nintendo sounds... still have my snes wired up! <3
I also like taking samples from movies and political debates on tv and downsample it and use a lot of reverb or echo in certain parts.
also a sucker for the start and stop fade in logic... need to stop using so much, but it just does the job

basically anything that is not popular and not heard by a mainstream crowd. nothing against popular music just not really my thing. I have done some songs at the request of people but on my own I just kinda like having something unheard of.

Anything that reflects how I am feeling at the moment.....if it's dark, it's because I was feelin like that, so I'll dig for dark samples. If it's jazzy/moody, I was just diggin for chilled stuff that day. It's easier to make beats that way!!!!

If it feels green and ill then thats what I use. Its gotta feel like an old wooden house by a dingy harbor rocking back and forth with the basement flooded with black water and little whales swimming. If it don't feel like that then I massacre the shit out of it by chopping it up, reverse frequencies like turning a high pitched piano melody into a bassline and basslines into bell chimes, I come like Merlin on samples.
