Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

I think what most if not everyone is wondering, is why there's no official responses from Akai regarding why they are again late on the release.. Dan or any Akai rep this may be the time to stand up and drop us a line or two.

If anything,at this point, it just makes them seem unreliable to the user community.

Why post anything if you can't make the date concrete. It seems like they are really struggling to push out a stable build.I'm sure they have their best intentions, but communication is key, and cash is king.

Though you can't teach the hustle.Hype is dead over here.

this is like sum beat kang shit.. the kangz came out talking hella shit, mpc killer this and that,. then did the same thing. their mouths were writing checks their ass couldnt cash.. lol.. talk ,talk, talk, talk... the one good thing about the beat kangz that i thank them for is teaching me a lesson. and it was only a hundred dollar lesson cause i only bought their sopftware.. the lesson: dont buy something unless it totally does what you want at the time you are gonna buy it. dont buy it cause some update is promised, and even if its the head guy telling you, like in my case.. if you buy it and things are not working the way it was advertised then bring the damn thing back, cause they falsely advertised that shit... i learnd this buying the BTV and it still doesnt have the updated features that they said would just be a couple weeks, that was in 09' its 13' now... get my drift??? i waited on buying maschine cause of this lesson, and when i got maschine right after they got vst support working right, i was happy with it cause it did what i bought it for, i tested it to make sure the first week and was jumpy about bringing it back to gc, but i didnt have to.... my point is let this be a lesson to all.... dont buy something cause they say it will be this and that after a few updates.. buy it for what it is NOW.. look how much time you are wasting not making beats and looking for an update, thinking things will be better but all u will keep doing is waiting on that update, the next one, and the next one,.. thats why i stray away from companies who are like akai/bke/numark/alesis/ion

Can somebody show me where there was any mention of "next Wednesday or Thursday"? Because to be fair, thats not what I read and to my knowledge Wednesday and Thursday fall 52 weeks of the year.

We must give AKAI time. The sales of MPC Renaissance/Studio are not as aggressive as they could be, therefore there is no reason to rush 1.3 simply because those who previously bought the units would like to have the new software.

The release of 1.3 and its introduction at NAMM 2013 was supposed to generate "new" interest for potential consumers of MPC Renaissance/Studio.

Those who purchased the MPC Renaissance/Studio since 1.1 or 1.2 will just have to wait.

I'm serious,
I've seen the young age of the
current representatives of akai,
or has been an inheritance, or
a transfer or an exchange
between companies ....
Akai should go ahead without
all these problems so big.
but
Akai ...
That finished product offered
for sale is this?

A greeting.

Pedro ( Betatester ).

clint, what everyone is talking about is on the 15th of this month, the update was suppose to come out. then on the morning of the 15th, Dan got on here and said it was going to be delayed and they (akai) was "realigning themselves for Weds or Thurs."

He never said he promised it will be next weds or thurs. but everyone thinks because he gave those days of the week, they took that to be a promise.

bobby, pete did get on twitter yesterday and said something to the point of it's still not ready

@petegoodlife wrote:@DunfordNate @fanujanne Not coming today. One last bug being squished…

Pete also said:

@masada3502 1.4 is already underway.
@PourSomeVS Feel free to suggest for 1.4. We already have a massive list! (And, yes, we do listen to the forums, too)

Precisely my point.

However long it takes, these products will be at least a year old before I consider touching them. I'm probably waiting for 2.0 or thereabouts by which time full legacy compatibility has to be in place. It was obvious to me a long long time ago how this buggy software 'issue' was going to play out.

No one has to say "I promise." Word is bond, yes is yes and no is no. Plus Dan said " we will be delayed releasing 1.3 for a "FEW DAYS..."" A "few days" equates to next WED or THUR not any Wed or Thu in the 52 weeks. C'mon son!

This thread is comedy.

The Roster Includes:

The "I Told You So" guys. These guys let you know they already knew, a million times.

The "Drama" guys. These guys whole life have changed because of the current situation surrounding 1.3 and it's release.

The "Understanding" guys. These guys want 1.3, and don't mind waiting for it. Even though they were told the 15th.

The "Jokers" These guys don't really care about much going here. They just look for good places to make good jokes. These guys are funny.

Ah. Entertainment.

I don't think I've ever seen an "Official" release date for any of their products on the site. It's always a surprise or annoucement after the fact. I found out the Ren was released by someone who posted on here.

I bet you they'll never announce another release date again.

This thread has been comical.
