MPC Renaissance and MPC Studio v1.3 & 1.31 Bug Reports

when I load a plug in instrument like sample tank for example, the gui of the vst is all whited out, all i can see is the window outline. I have to click on the mpc software window and bring it to the foreground, and move it out of the way to see my plug in window.

When clicking in the sample editor to add slice, the slice always appear off to the left and not exactly where I click it.

Q links are very buggy in some cases. For example I added an EQ to a track, when adjusting my effects values with the qlinks i would get values jumping all over the place. Sometimes I touch one qlink, and the value on another q link changes.

Hardware zoom doesn't zoom in on a waveform on the mpc hardware screen (only zooms on pc screen - a misunderstanding by Akai probably..)

The mpc plugin in cubase is to big for the screen and u can't scale it down
Recording midi as in recording drum sequences to a cubase mpc midi track is a little strange I make a pattern in the mpc with it set to mpc then change it to midi then press record /play in cubase and it will record midi data for the pattern with no sound then I switch the mpc back to mpc mode and the track in cubase triggers the sound without the mpc playing is this correct or should it just record midi data when it's in mpc mode

my tube-tech plugin settings are not saving.. when i reopen my projects there are back to default settings

I think i found a BUG.
When i Save my project which is at 88 BPM and load it again afterwards the Sequence says 88BPM but the MPC master track is running at 120 BPM (default)



It occurs when i load my project from the desktop AND from inside 1.3 (load recent project).

Are there any Windows users that aren't experiencing this with their project files? What were your update steps? Trying to fix this issue if it's even something we as the users can fix. Has anyone tried to reinstall the MPC program over again?

First of all , the new "Audio Route" selector on a Keygroup looks very promising,
and it would be very nice if it would work

How:
Create Keygroup
Add Insert Effect
Set Audio Route to Track Mixer
Open Trackmixer
go back to Keygroup edit,

Result:
Route is back to Submix1

I'm getting the BPM bug as well.

Load 1.2 project saved as 100 bpm. Opens with 100 bpm on my studio screen, but software says 120 bpm, and that's how it plays back. Moved the curser on studio to BPM and took it to 101, then back to 100. That reset the software to 100 instantly.

Resaved to new project name - still at 100 bpm, re-opened and both the studio and software have it at 120 bpm. Bit of a show stopper....

So, in the meantime, save everything with a bpm in the file name

Im still having issues that I had on 1.2, with it loading samples with the [AUTO] button on and crashing

Ill be looking for a sample to chop, and it will crash if I use the jog wheel by the 4th sample it loaded

This was also happening to me in 1.2

If you have your T.C. on 32nds or higher, the step sequencing is broken, it completely ignores the second half of the bar, measure or whatever.

Jah, #30 also happens with reaper. Window is resized but the MPC plugin stays the same size.

Pete said he is on the bug that Windows users are experiencing with the incorrect BPM. There was no ETA given.
