my fear about buying an mpc ren

I stated what I meant. I use plugins that I don't have issues with.

Thank you very much man, that was really really enlightening.

I don't use many plug-ins 2-3 tops, so these problems occurring from many plug-ins are not an issue for me.

The only thing stopping me now from buying an mpc ren is the undo button not working well cause i like to play many rhythms especially with hi-hats before i end up which one i like and undo button gets on fire sometimes.

i will also wait for step edit and grid mode to be added cause i worked them as hell in my previous mpcs.

i hope these three things won't take long to come right????do we know any news about them, like if they will be on 1.4 or not??

also as long as the pads and the wheel is better than mpc 4000 thats all i really care.

you brought my enthusiasm back.

I have not run into a plugin problem yet on the windows version, except for not being able to select presets on some plugs. The dropdown box is not there in the MPC environment, but its there in any other VST host.

I believe Dan (Akai Project manager) discussed 64 bit support coming in the next in 1.4. The Undo button has a bug. But it isn't 100% reproducable; hopefully it will get ironed out sooner than later. As far as Step Edit this is on Akai's radar but no definitive date for implementation...not sure about Grid Edit though.
