The step edit was the 1st thing that i looked for after programing my sequence. Was pretty shocked when i didn't see it! Being able to event/cursor to a particular note and edit and change the value with the numeric keypad is what i liked, and was part of the work flow process. Step edit is actually the main reason the mpc sequencer is/was my master/main sequencing tool. Hands on, quick to edit with no mouse drawing.

AnSolas pic of the step edit seems to be what i would be looking for as far as step edit for the Ren.
The Studio One pic looks good to, just dont like the velocity bar, would much rather type my numeric value(s) in, instead of using the mouse to make adjustments.

Hope step edit is coming soon with one of the software updates

This is exactly what I want to see in the Ren (one of my first feature requests) but as an addition to the traditional Step Edit Mode/MIDI Event List Editor.

+1 Sure, an Info line above the time line + Step edit . Sexy

There's a Previous/Next event button on the transport section then it would be easy to highlight specific notes and pass to the next with this buttons to tweak the different value with the data dial and the arrows of the Ren/studio.

Same here. I remember specifically asking for this right after Ren was announced.
