from Floppy reader to cf reader

On the mpc 2000 classic, if you replace the standard internal floppy drive with a cf reader that has the os on it will the mpc still work?

It seems the only way to have an internal CF reader is to use a IDE to SCSI converter. It works if you have the OS written onto FAT formatted card

The MPC Classic has no internal disk drive connectors, other than the floppy drive connector.

You need to reroute the external SCSI connector, to provide an internal SCSI connection, then you would need a SCSI CF reader, an IDE/ATAPI CF reader plus a SCSI-IDE bridge, or a SATA CF reader plus a SCSI-SATA bridge.

using an adapter can you scsi to your computer and load samples and the os?
