~ YEA, IT PLAYS THE KEYS, BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH HERE
I thought that you wanted to sequence the M3 sounds from the MPC, so, playing the M3 sounds from the pads is doing that.
That is confirmation that the connection from the MPC MIDI Output to the M3 MIDI input is setup right, and working, if you play MPC pads and sounds come out of the M3.
chiefr_suthrland wrote:Do you get any sound from the M3 when playing it's own keys, with the M3 local control on?
~ WITH IT ON OR OFF, I CAN GET SOUND FROM THEE M3 ITSELF. YES
With the M3 Local Control set to off, and the MIDI cables to the MPC disconnected, you can still play the M3 sounds using the M3 keyboard?
That doesn't sound right.
chiefr_suthrland wrote:The combi/timbral trick worked like a charm. Only one "tiny" problem now. The M3 sounds sound kinda low on the MPC, idk y. Any suggestions?
& YES, I have the volume turned all the way up...lol
Can you explain a little more about what you mean?
What does it mean that the M3 sounds low on the MPC?
How are you listening to the output of the MPC, and the M3, are they both going into a mixer, or are you somehow listening to the output of the M3 through the MPC?
I don't understand that part.
