REN + Microkorg

Hallo,

i have a lil´problem with my connection between MP and MK. Everything works fine, i can hear the sound from the MK and i can record it to the REN, but when i export the whole track as an mp3 or a wav i cant hear that sound from the MK anymore.

The REN is connected to the MK with 2 Midicable and the MK´s output goes to my mixer (Mackie ProFX8). REN is pluged in 1 and 2 and the MK is in 3/4.

I was working on so many ways (Output MK pluged to Input Line REN.... or USB from the Mixer pluged in the REN) but i didn´t find a way to work it out.

Hope anybody can help me.

I was having the same issue as the ren dont have audio tracks you have no way of bouncing the audio with it as in your daw you would have a track for the audio and a track for the midi the ren only has midi so you would need to sample it or use it in your daw with the mpc plugin running the rest of your sequence

Oh i see! That was my first thought cause i read before i get my MK, that everybody wish that 1.4 is comming up with that feature. Now i know why. Thx a lot for your answer!

But is it possible to record it as an Audio in LogicAudio? My problem this way was, that i cant get a signal to the Audiotrack in Logic.

Audiosignal from the MK to Logic is working now. Just pluged the two Output-cables from the MK in the REN-LINE-IN.

Maybe there´s a better way to do it over the PlugIn-Feature?

'If' the standalone MPC Software had the Direct Recording/Record Event option that previous MPCs had, where you could record a sample while the sequencer was playing, and the MPC would automatically record a sequencer event/MIDI note for the start of the newly recorded sample, then you could do this in the standalone software without needing audio tracks (or at least before, and without waiting for, audio tracks).
