audio scrubbing

In sample edit mode is there anyway to quickly scrub through the audio in a sample instead of having to hold down a pad until you find section you want or quickly high light with the mouse a section of the sample you want to loop (ie logic, ableton, protools). If theres a faster way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

lots of people have requested improvements to sample edit i'd really like to see some of the features they have in beatcleaver and other sample editors implemented

running through the audio hitting pad with the left hand and using the mouse with right is the fastest way in any program i think but it just when you get to the part of the sample you want there's just not enough options from then on with the ren software yet, it becomes a bit dis jointed.
say i'm at that point i found a section i want, i press copy it asks me cancel or do it. i'd rather it just copied when i press copy. these little things just slow down the flow in editing.

hopefully they will really get the editing sorted out. its an area i'd really want them to focus on as i'm more sample based.

I don't mind pressing do it but it would be nice if the enter button on the numeric keypad could be pressed as well. Usually your hand is on the encoder when you need to press do it, the enter button is right there next to it.

unlock the loop and use the loop start marker as playback start
That way you can preserve the Sample start marker

The MPC studio is my first MP so i'm coming from the school of protools, logic, flstudio and ableton where everything is a mouse click... so I was just wondering if there was a faster way...Thanks guys.

Currently no. But you can jump to the last part with pad 3 I think .. And play what's after the end point with another pad.

Not what you're looking for , but two ways to start from somehwre other than the start point of the sample.

Yeah i figured.. its cool... I'm just breaking out of old ways i used to sample and comparing different methods for speed purposes.
