I got what I need, shit still ain't working right.

if it only has a midi in u have to have the mpcs midi out go into it then where it says DRUM 1 make that midi 1 a and play the pads. if it doesnt have midi out then u cant goto the mpc. Midi is like a one way street. One cable = one direction. it doest go back and forth.
