Are you satisfied with 1.4 update???pls vote

1.4 is a great update. Adds much better sample editing etc.

Did it address the things I wanted added / changed? No

But hopefully the next update will contain things more on the sequencing side which is what I mainly use the mpc for.

Anyone experiencing any issues with 1.4, please create a separate thread with detailed information. I will trouble shoot your problem and confirm or provide a solution. Any issues, I'll send directly to the developers to take a look to address in the next update(s) if applicable.

I think it is good, although, and I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but I was hoping for more virtual outputs. It needs at least 24 to be remotely useful for full productions as a plugin. It's crippled right now with only 8.

This is the one feature that's keeping me from really using the software for composing. That might put me in the minority. But I'm hearing that it is a popular request. Would love to see 48 virtual outputs in plugin mode (or more) in the 1.5 release.

Yep, most all other plugins have at least 16 stereo outs... Battery, Kontakt, Groove Agent one, etc.... I think 16 stereo has become the standard. The other thing is that you can run multiple instances of these plugins I mentioned. I don't think it would hurt go ahead with 32 stereo outs if they are going to only allow one instance. But 16 at least is needed IMO.

+1 - IMO the more the better, but you're right, 16 stereo should be the minimum.

I am satisfied that (as of right now) the mpc software hasn't crashed when saving. That made my REN and Studio paperweights at one point.
But yes, I do agree there's still ALOT of work that needs to be done.
I did experience the Undo button issue. I have warned a few ppl to AVOID the UNDO button lol (but seriously). Now if I can only get Nexus to work.......

They need a undo for the undo button.

I hit that mother **** button and it erased a million dollar cord progression and I'm pissed bruh

Big thing i would like to see in 1.5 would be the Step Edit function to return!!

As far as the virtual outputs, I agree with that also. Having more wouldn't hurt. But truthfully, I would rather use the export function to import into a DAW. I would like to see additional export options.

At its core: yes, completely satisfied. The Ren/Studio will be big as development continues.

The way I produce, I tweak things along the way, even during mixing, and sometimes recording the vocals - to make sure everything is in the pocket - can't do that with an exported wav file (without having to go back into software, make changes and re-export) - major vibe killer. So for me the virtual outs are critical.

But more export options would be great too - may give me a few more workflow paths. What kind of options are you talking about? Might give me some other ideas.

So I vote for both - virtual outs and export options - JAH - make it happen! LOL. Just kidding. btw, I thought I read somewhere that you are from Pittsburgh. What part? I'm just north of the city.

Yes!!! 1.4 is what i was looking for.



Although I had to spend on Motu for realtime-timestretching for chopping samples!

crashes more even with their own vst's like the bank...
also with samples...i was expecting a less annoying experience...but its a whole lotta dope new options...yet it crashes just as much....so before u can use the new features you restarted your ren for over 15 times...and restart software....

I just looked through all your recent posts...couldn't find any detailed bug reports. I am not experiencing your issues so it is likely I may be able to help solve your problems or..confirm your problem and get in into the hands of someone that can fix it.
