Copying Songs + Copying Sequences via software.

01_ Being able to copy existing Songs in a same project so you can test different Song structures within the same Project.

On the MPC 1000, you can highlight the Song field, then copy a Song via the "Window" button. Why can't the Ren do that?

02_ Being able to copy Sequences via the software.

It's so bizarre to me that not all things can be done on the hardware and the software. Using the hardware to duplicate a Sequence and then using the software to rename the duplicated Sequence is a strange way to work.

On the software, why not being able to right-click on the Sequence drop-down menu and choose "Copy"? Right now, only "Export" and "Clear" are available...

I believe that the software should be 100% controllable from the hardware. Likewise, anything the hardware can do should also be done in the software. While I wouldn't use a Sequence Copy in the software, it seems odd that one shouldn't be available since the hardware has it.

Copying any supported file type to include Songs is a logical feature request.

I'm with you all the way brother! I just posted a similar question today...I got a sequence I really like. Now I want to copy it exactly to sequence 2, so I can add some variations, I've searched in the manual and looked for videos, and I'm still stuck on stupid. I agree It should be right in the drop down menu.

When in Song mode, make your arrangement, and then Copy Song into a New Sequence (Arrangement 1)
Make a second arrangement and then copy into another sequence (Arrangement 2)

From the software, go to the hamburger menu: Edit > Sequence > Copy Sequence
