Rens audio into Reason...anybody?

after extensive research and trial and error, I cannot find a way to successfully route and stream the Ren's audio into Reason. I have soundflower, but there is an awful feedback loop. I believe the reason is because Reason only allows you to select "sound card" it would be easy to run if Reason allowed you to choose 2 different devices i.e. Soundflower as the input, and your interface as the output. If anyone has an answer please share, otherwise I'll be back and I figure out the problem or get Props to update the Reason sound card option.

And don't tell me to bounce the tracks out and re-open in Reason. IF that's the only option the Ren's going back and the sub phatty is coming home.

The Ren's MPC Software can stream audio into any DAW that supports VST or AU plugins.

so you are having issues with setting the Ren's Output as Soundflower and Reason's Input as Soundflower to enable streaming between apps?

no, the problem is, after I figured out the feedback problem I was getting the clicks and pops associated with pushing your Ram limits. The problem with that is I should not have ran into that issue, Reason is light and had nothing in its rack and the Ren only had a chopped up drum break on one track running in it. neither program showed anything on the cpu meters. Being loyal to Reason has it's downsides

Just curious, 64 bit running on both apps...?... if so it's even more

Man...was hoping the homie Arkyve would have the solution to this, as he helped me get my 5000 and 2500 Midi synced with Reason...mind you, I haven't spent too much time trying, but still can't get my Studio working with Reason. Wish I wasn't such an early adopter and would've just copped an MPD at this point...

You can't just use Ren as the soundcard for MPC and go 1/4 out of Ren into your interface and use your interface as the soundcard for Reason?

The pops and clicks is likely from soundflower. It's happened to me before as well and has ruined some things I sampled from youtube.

Important thing is to have both programs in the same rate...44.1, 48...or whatever...
For the feedback you have to turn your direct monitoring off in your reason armed tracks.
I've got not clicks and pops....

thats what i was gonna suggest too

on a similar note - using the "mpc ren" as the ins/outs have cut my crashes and bugs way wayyy down
