Heres some more chili for your beans....Wow! I just got a reply from scsicardreaders.com..... they tell my drive is a NON HOT swap drive. Wow this is getting strange!

Sorry for bumping, but I totally missed this post until now. So, you have non-hot swappable CF card reader.

Did you resolve the issue?

Well yes and no, mostly no though. I am able to load samples onto it while on my roomies pc w/internal cf card reader(windows 7 os)

Everything is real kosher there, however when using my imac i am unable to xfer samples onto the card due to unreadable files (hidden mac files)

So i have to go to a whole different cpu(pc) which is not really efficient in order to get results...

It seems that Virtual Box is not able to carry out the task due to usb errors on Vista,i think i wrote a bit about this up top..

After all these years later my mpc has been overhauled due to top pcb board damage,just installed a new top pcb board that i got from vst along with a new pad sensor from mpcstuff and its back nline. Still havent dabbled with the issue in a whie but i wil be updating soon,sorry i was a bit late on a follow up :oops:
