Just figured something out but I need to automate a parameter to do it

Basically I have a vocal over a 4 bar loop not cut up just a straight one shot vocal

I record using note repeat either 1/32 or 1/64. Obviously a really annoying stuttered vocal is heard but if I go into sample edit and move the sample start it gives the old style time stretch effect. The annoying thing is thats as far as I can go . Because I can't find anywhere where I can record automation for the sample start.. If I could do this I could Create time stretch effect as long or short as I like (would be easier with a line tool)

AKAI!! Please add this little feature I'm sure a lot of people would find it handy

Anyone else agree ? it can't be hard to add sample start on a Qlink automation and would solve the old Skool time stretch issue that people would like ;)

That's something we used to do with Jungle & Hardcore records back in the day. If there's a way to make this happen on the MPC Ren anytime soon I would be a very happy man :-D

Btw, you can record the sound into a DAW or another recording device if you want to, infact that would be very reminiscent of the old skool methods we used to employ. Not perfect but a solution nonetheless.....infact that's what I'm off to try now ;)
