need some help please crashing mpc 2000 classic

Hi just need some help i use a mpc 2000 classic with reason as a sound module i went to one of my sequences to delete a 1 bar area and i pressed delete all because thats what i wanted and my mpc crashed so i left it off for a bit and it done it again why is it crashing? is it the memory when i bought this machine the man said he had put max memory in.so could you advise me what to do i was nearly finised my song when it happened i was just making drops and stuff i only had 9 combinator channels in reason is there a limit to how much you can add hopefully you have experience and can help thanks.

try out the test mode:

from the main screen (do a fresh boot... without a project is fine)

1) go to the mixer (shift+7)
2) push open window
3) push shift+0

do the memory test to find out!

thanks for the reply just done the test it just went back to the disk screen didnt give me any results. i will go back to my project and see if all of my instruments in my sequences are on the right channels and see if it anything there causing the problem many thanks
