im curious. does your mpc-ren lose connection?

usually i turn on my ren, the controller works great.

then when i close the software, and open it again, my ren cant connect to the software and just shows big 'MPC' on the screen. not able to control the software.

is this only me or common for ren users?

YEP! know issue .

I was having the same issue...very annoying.

I quit using the USB ports on my Mac Pro and instead installed a PCIe USB card.

Now it hardly ever happens.

If I use the ren's soundcard yes always happens, I no longer use the rens soundcard, but an apollo, no more issues.

Happens to me whether I use the rens soundcard or my Macs built-in soundcard!

Same here. Turn it off, wait for five seconds, turn it back on again.

Yes, same here, normally after 'computer stopped communicating' message pops up, track keeps playing then i close software and have to reopen......*****ing annoying.
