odd Q-link behavior, halp!

howdy.



anybody have a clue why Q5 seems to be grouped with Q6 after i turn the machine on? btw Q6 needs to be replaced, and doesnt produce any output.

new unit here. just deciding if its worth keeping and fixing.

Looks haunted.

I would keep it personally if that's all that's wrong with it. Should be a cheap enough fix.

my dilemma is if replacing the q-link will stop the weird behavior. theres some other strange things going on here too like my 8 output expander isnt showing up in the system but you can assign sounds to outs. how is this possible?

also what is the criteria for the note repeat button to work? i know the sequencer has to be running but sometimes it seems to turn on and others it wont respond. do i need a certain type of track for it to work?
