Almost 6 months and not even an official Maverick Driver Upd

It wasn't clear that the driver actually made your computer bug out, and not some non-driver related issue. You said it started beeping on startup, but never said what the beep code was, and what it meant. I thought the beeping just went away by itself.

I'm not sure what difference it being a beta version makes. It seems to work for others, and for them, having the beta version is probably better than nothing.

As Hellfire said, it isn't even an Akai driver, it is a Ploytech driver, so probably out of Akai's control as to when/what is available.

first it was every 3 months, now its every 6 months? next thing its once a year, so by this rate we will have 1.8 in 2016, i mean i still admire your guys optimism, whatever keeps your hopes up

well they way i look at it pete has exactly 6 months . to keep his word , so hmmm he mite make the dead line ..or i win .. lmao .. but i need to know the exact date of the last release ,and i don't think you can count nov , and i don't think it has been 6 months yet .. and for some reason i think he will make the dead line ..and i think they are almost done ..

Well its almost april and why can't I count November? 1.6 was completed November 2013, wouldn't that mark the next period for updates? Or because they delayed the last update everything is now delayed?

@iamrocgod Not yet, no. We have taken some things apart to make MPC better. 1.7 is not coming for a few weeks yet.

...so, on March 5th, he said it was still a few weeks away.

InspectahEX knows this already, as quoted above, Pete told him.

They have shown us what they are working on. It seems they made some changes since then. After they make changes, it has to go through the beta testing process.

You have the Renaissance beta driver for Mavericks, which seem to be from Ploytec, and possibly are not written by Akai.
