BTW @Lamp and any1 else interested. I was not disappointed in the FA-06 at all, it just couldn't chop and slice like I thought it would, should of done my research on that, I was well prepared in advance anyways just in case something like that came up, I would be back in a couple days for the Maschine Studio (which costs less than the FA also) just incase something like that came up. Being I knew the FA cost more it was a no brainer I could come back the next day and get the Maschine Studio which I had originally planned on trading for. I still plan on getting an MpcStudio, and maybe the FA or a Fantom, just for me the Ren is overkill with the audio interface and all that, and I just wasn't satisfied with the direction of the software/updates. I gave it a year and half, wasn't for me, didn't mind trading it in towards a FA or maschine studio in the end of the day, now Im super satisfied. I'm happy and thats all that matters to me.

Sorry, but I agree with SimonInAustralia. You HAVE been ranting all over these forums again and again, and most of us have been fed up with your complaining rather than the Ren itself. And just because 75% of the forum users dislike the Ren doesn't mean it's Scheiße. The people that like the Ren usually stick to making beats. They don't rant.

Rant while making beats, and ranting when People dont seem To have the Same experience, and thats okay, but when the exact opposite is being proclaimed...but yeah Simon is right sometimes its too much, and I am guilty of that too...but come over and make a beat on my ren, watch how u feel after an hour...

Never got on with the Motif XS. The Sequencer was weak and nowhere near upto MPC standard . The tweaking the synth parts is very deep and time consuming too which spoiled the workflow. Very nice sounds and appregs though

I kept my Ren - it's a nice compliment to Live 9, MPC 2000XL, Komplete 8 and my samples......

Dividing the Pattern data to create a new Pattern—[F6] Remix

The Remix function divides the MIDI data in a selected track into several pieces of a specified note length, and randomly rearranges a portion of the data. When Remix is used on a track containing a sliced sample voice, the various segments of the sample are rearranged with varied timing.

1 Type
Determines how a single measure is divided. The dividing point and the amount differ depending on the Type setting here.
Settings: 1 – 16

2 Variation
Determines how the segments divided by Type (1) will be rearranged. The division and rearrangement rules differ depending on the Variation setting.
Settings:

normal 01 – 16
The divided data is only rearranged. 16 variations are provided.

reverse 01 – 16
In addition to rearrangement of the divided data, some portions of the data may be played in reverse. 16 variations are provided.

break 01 – 16
In addition to rearrangement of the divided data, some portions of the data may be deleted to create breaks. 16 variations are provided.

pitch 01 – 16
In addition to rearrangement of the divided data, some portions of the data may be pitch-shifted. 16 variations are provided.

roll 01 – 16

3 Interval
