If any of my customers are having issues, I invite them to contact me on ebay. I sell an average of 3 drives a day. It is impossible to keep track of, unless all communication is on Ebay, where I can see who you are, what you have bought and track our communication. On these forums I do not know which one of these people bought what. If anyone is having problems I invite you to contact me on Ebay and to go through due process. If I have not responded to your e mail, a friendly reminder would not hurt, please keep in mind, 20+ emails a day & most take about 10 min or so to answer. I also have included a 6 page manual with your drive, It includes proper hook up, SCSI basics and a troubleshooting section. My suggestion is to read it in its entirety. The answer you seek in probably in there.
@Simon, I am not sure of your intent here but, Thanks for quoting me and pointing out the fact that you have found 3 people who claim my drives do not work. I can provide you with examples of the opposite, In great numbers. So, What is the point? Because you saw an opportunity to point out what you feel is a flaw of mine? Do you really think that I would build them drives and not verify its compliance before shipping it off?
If these guys need my help, then they can contact me on Ebay. Remember guys, it is SCSI, NOT Usb. You will get recognition issues and error sometimes. This was most probably why USB was invented. Most the time you could hook this drive to two different MPC2000xls and get two totally different results. Anything that might change the resistance in the slightest, over 50 different circuits will have adverse effects in the SCSI bus. So, with that in mind, Simple changes like, terminator removal, Cable swap out, Hooking to the lower SCSI port, power up sequence, ect... will most probably give you the desired results. All of this info + more is in the manual...

We have been trying to talk him through the problem, and it seems he has it hooked up correctly, and still seems to not be working.

No **** point, just wondering what you were doing to sort out those two other forum members with problems, who we were trying to help get your products working for them, recently, here on the forum.
