No sweat most of us are that's why I wanted to do this kind of session so we could share our mixing chain with others. Some of us are a little more savy then others so it will be nice to share

Congrats on the win, loved that sample.

Flipped it on my mpc 1000, added some extra drums, extra bass made with animoog, a little bit of Alan Watts, recorded it in FL Studio (through M-Audio Fasttrack Pro), some eqing and that´s pretty much about it.

looking forward for some constructive criticism

drum beat, chopped old school funk drums to hip hop natural exclusive > bus 1
sub synth > bus 2
tune chops > bus 3

Master, bit reduction, 3 band eq and limiter

love the way you picked that rhodes hook, also like the filtered vocal you used for filling, fits perfectly.

Ruff & quick.

SP1200 separate outs into Allen & Heath GS3 desk and eq'd.

Aux send FX: Hohner RDM1000 delay, Lexicon PCM70, Roland RS09 chorus, spring tank.
dbx 118 on group 1+2. dbx 500 bass processor on group 7+8.
Urei/JBL 7110 compressors on stereo mix out.

Recorded live into Adobe Audition and then edited into a ruff arrangement.
Then, Waves API 2500 for level matching of finished, edited track and L2 for an overall volume boost without crushing it too much.

I just used the sample given for all sounds.

Just uploaded my track . I hope it's not late
