I know dude is going to freak out on me again because I'm mentioning DC offset (DC Bias) again (he's certain that it isn't DC offset).

In case you don't know much about DC offset, here is a good article that will help explain why I thought it was a possibility...

this is the last time I'll mention it....

You can't just turn DC offset on or off....

I'm so done with this thread

How does it not happen to factory samples, if it is clearly a software problem?

Still have not seen any examples of MPC samples, programs, and sequences, posted, for others to check out on their own systems.

Maybe it is a DC offset problem, I would try a different phono preamp, through the Mic/Line ins, instead of the phono input, or through a difference audio interface altogether, to see if it makes any difference.

NOW I've reproduced the issue for the first time. Layer noise on a different track and forget about it. Cleanliness is for wimpies.

When I sampled internally soundflowerbed to mpc Ren, the samples were damaged in this way Or More More Badly.

Also, the same problem happened when I only used mpc's own sound card to sampling phono-line mic or line inputs.

The same problem also happened when I used my Focusrite soundcard and Mpc was just a controller.

Audio sample only record to music, you hear the crackle http://www.sendspace.com/file/u87244

The only way of crackle got away for a moment was to change the sample rate 44100hz-> 44800hz. I suspected also that the sound was due to some power / electrical side of the problem.

For me, traded under this warranty, the new mpc ring. They have the problem of maintenance of the testing did not show. However, a new device that also occurred. That is, the fault is not in the device itself or with your sound card.

The fault may be deceased, either mpc-studio program, soundflowerbed. I have become a problem, as well as the Mavericks & mountailion. Time until Apple announced that the latest mavericks update fixes an issue with the operating system, sound crackling in some Mac models.

But if this is also reflected in problems with signing mountainlion, I think the problem is mpc-studio software! A really bad bug!

lol cleanliness is for wimps?

okie

the 'popping' little noises that happen arent always on cue.. they are random as fuhhck..so if you edit it out with layering or attack/decay or just trying to trim it off the front of the samples it might still happen...which is mainly why im 99% sure its completely software related

its ok if your using a sample you dont have to chop or multiple samples in a loop you know? because ppl arent going to really notice 1 pop at the beginning ofthe sample.. but if youre using a bunch of samples its going to become a problem... at least for me and some other ppl. weird that some ppl have this issue and some people dont. im using a mac os, just built in output. :?

As has already been suggested, if you can narrow it down to a single program or programs, just upload it here so people can get forensic with it.

If everyone had the same issue this place would go off, so it suggests that it's either something with your system or sampling technique.

^ a problem with my 'system' or sampling technique?

hahaha... :Sigh:

no.

ive been using mpc's since 2008

switching to the ren it was immediately obvious that its a software issue. im not uploading programs etc for ppl to get 'forensic' with.

the people with the issue know exactly what we are talking about you. and dudes who think they know more than everyone else, like you coz, tell me its my sampling technique? youre an idiot. straight up
