Explode usually works by MIDI note explosion everywhere, so I guess your drums will still be layered.

There are two types of explode; Track Explode and Explode Tracks.

Track Explode happens in the sequencer. It splits all pads with notes on one track and puts each pad on its own track. This only explodes pads. So if you use pad layering in program edit, these will still be layered.

Explode track is done in the export menu. We technically already had this before but now it will explode each track of a multitimbral instrument.

How big is the update?
