first off. everyone in this forum have their own opinions, you can choose
to accept or reject, now rem) I understand your point about the dac's on the
MPC vs PC. look at this) most of the time playing back what I've recorded
into the PC from the MPC I can't tell the difference,Why? hold that thought.
you said sending the sounds from your zip to the PC is fine, but when you
transfer to the MPC your sound is being cut off right! ok then back trace between the PC and MP. check your mixer ,cables, soundcard settings, etc.
eliminate the process ,that's your answer.MPC3000 said ,and is saying rule
out everything that can be causing the decay at the tail end of your drum
kik, sound etc. Simple as that. Remember YOU ask the Q) You have a problem w/dac. So do you want to solve the problem or ?(Don't talk in Circles) Now I use 24/96 audiophile great soundcard,on the MPC Dac is ok
sound wise.but me personally I got the mpc for sequenceing, because of that Humanizing feel it brings. And it can Master/Slave/Smpte/MtC- it's
butt off (hardware), Software logic,cubase,Pro-tools,etc. brings something
different. So I would advice you to look back at the threads grab what you
can and fix your problem, then debate or prove your case. I hope this calms this subject down, but this is what make's MPC (Akai) A famous Product to use in the Music Industry. T"
