MPC 1000 A/D Convertor Set-up

So I'm using a Focusrite Saffire Pro24 as my interface and have the Focusrite Octopre Hooked up to my MPC and basically go Optical Out into the Pro24 and don't really have any complaints about the set-up.

I was wondering what you other guys use. Do any of you use Digital Multitrack Recorders at all?

yep I have a Korg D1200 Mk2. But I have optical SPDIF and not coax SPDIF and I also use a mixer to. So MPC outs to mixer, main out to D1200 then optical SPDIF to mac mini. Also SPDIF out from mac mini to D1200 to monitor and listen to stuff.

I have a couple of other devices that use coax SPDIF but I do not use them at all as my mixer is analogue. Though have been thinking of using the coax input on the MPC from a synth, but that is kinda not needed as I am happy with the set up. That and I use AUX sends for FX/compressors so that would side step this set up and not be as I want.
