sorry, i was on wrong version of software , ignore what i was saying about changing OG bpm field, i deleted the post

still though, TS should work for you -

a couple things to note:

while in TS window... leave your original BPM at whatever its default is... if you have a 32 beat sample (and its trimmed to exactly 32 beats) selecting 32 beats should display exactly what the BPM of sample is in the "Original BPM" field.

by changing your "new bpm" field to desired bpm, the timestretch should perform correctly.

they key is that your sample is actually the amount of beats you say it is and that you do not adjust that original bpm field.

I understand that part. The original sample is being stretched at a tune of 0 while the actual sample was tuned to +2. This never had an effect on TS in the past. I usually tune my samples up or down from the program edit window while leaving the tune at 0 on the sample edit screen. Akai totally messed up such a simple tool smfh
