Hi

I have loads of folders on my SD card full of drum kits, for one example.

Is there a way to ask the MPC to load the folder, then create a program with one sample per pad? I have tried, and searched, but struggling to find out.

I seem to have to make a new program and assign each sample manually, which gets tedious with 20+ samples per folder. I have very little time these days, and this seems a perfectly automatable function... the sort of things computers are brilliant at!

Im running JJOS01 - paid version. Happy to upgrade if another OS will do this for me.

If anyone knows how to do it, and/or if another version of JJ will do it, please let me know. I would be extremely grateful.

Many thanks!

There's MPC edit programs that can do that.
MPC Maid
MPC 187

187's my favorite, & yes, you can highlight & drag & drop whole folders into MPC187, and it will assign each sample to a pad, then you can create a folder with all the used samples, and the program for them, and drop it into your MPC.

Hi Puff Froggy Frog (!)

Many thanks for the tip. I was unaware of those programs.

While I tend not to use computers, it will be well worth while getting a few of my drum sample folders into programs for quick access.

Many thanks, ill give it a try!

Dont know why im not getting emails when the topic is replied to tho?

Cheers, Ben
