I think Akai saw Native not do a upgrade path and they followed suit. They probably are including AIR Instrument Expansion Pack to help soften the blow.

Really an Air Music Bundle...ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.... What about folks like me that copped an ADVANCE on release? I bought my MPC studio late but sheesh, tossing out the same old software for multiple AKAI hardware skus. Hybrid is as gimmicky as they come but in my opinion, the AIR bundle is WEAK SAUCE. I know that there is MASSIVE potential in LOOM, HYBRID & XPAND but they need 3rd-party support to really shine. Kontact and MASSIVE have things on lock for 3rd Party patches, even Maschine get kits released all the time.

Audio tracks soon?

Can the ren software drag and drop audio (sequences) in to a daw yet? similar to maschine?

seems like a pipe dream regarding a discount especially as u r now saying that the touch ships with 2.0

also 499 does not seem excessive how long before the price drops? and by how much? perhaps by this time next year the price will be 479, why wait a year for 20 quid off

I wasn't saying that the Touch will ship with 2.0, I assume it will ship with 1.9 (or 1.8.3 etc). I was talking hypothetically in the distant future, just pointing out that when/if 2.0 is released and assuming it was a paid upgrade for existing owners, some people might prefer to wait and buy their MPC hardware once 2.0 already out and thus save the separate upgrade fee.

Still no 1.9 vid??? Or release date?? I hope it's worth the wait.... By this amount of time passing it should be guaranteed that Audio Tracks are gonna be added to this update..
Though there hasn't been any hint on it. It still boggles my mind that it would take years for the Ren to not have audio tracks, with it being a DAW and all. Being able to use it properly in Cubase, audio tracks, midi drag and drop, and being able to use Izotope Studder edit on the Ren (and and stability, ofcourse) is all I ask..
