scrolling faster with the data wheel

how do i scroll faster with the data wheel?
maybe a noob question but i cant seem to find it in the manual or on the web..
chopping takes forever like this

help me out

highlight start or end point, SHIFT and cursor to the left to change the unit amount the jog wheel changes things (i.e. 10s, 100s, 1000s etc).

Or, use the Q1 or Q2 sliders instead - quick as anything, although no good to get pin point accuracy

Or, type the numbers in manually
