CPU requirements for MPC Touch

Hello, just wondering about the requirements info on the MPC Touch page stating "Dual-Core processor, 2.5 GHz or better". What do you guys think, is the 2.5 Ghz really the bare minimum for the Touch to work smoothly or at all? I have an older Toshiba Qosmio Q30-10B laptop with Intel Core(TM) 2 CPU T7600 2.33Ghz (64bit, dual core so it's 2.33 Ghz x2).

There might be some issues with MAC OS X and Display Link.

I have a retina Imac and it is crashing.

Dont repair permissions on OS X, I'm not quite sure if it conflicts with the Display Link drivers. There are some articles about it.

Hmm, DisplayLink... does my Toshiba lap which dates back to 2007 even has this feature? Btw, I am running Windows 8.1 64bit.

It works on my Windows computer that I built in 2004-ish, using Windoows 7.
