detecting memory...

I turned on my MPC today and it won't get past the part where it says "detecting memory..." I have turned it on and off a couple times and it still does the same thing??

I havn't used my mpc for a few weeks but last time I used it everything was fine?

Please help

WHich MPC do you have?

You may need to check if the Memory is seated properly, open her up and look at the RAM to see if it is loose.

I have the MPC2000XL with the 32 memory

I guess I could open it up but I realy don't know what I'm doing or what to look for..

I was not the one who installed the extra memory but it was working fine untill now

has this happened to anybody else?

Open it up, take out and reseat the memory.
