There's a few mm of yellowish backlight bleed on the right and left sides of my screen most noticeable on the grey screens like MAIN. Photo to follow later, assuming I can get it to show up.

I know cheap screens suffer from this and its pot luck on the severity, just wondering if anyone else has got any type of bleed on their Touch?

Nothing like that here, but perhaps it could be a heat issue. I have mine on 3 hours or so, but never as long as 9.

The iPad 2 had the same problem at the beggining, apple said it was due to the glue not being completely dry or something like that. I can see those on my unit too only when it's grey, but mine are definetely slimer than the ones in your unit.
This from the apple forums:

[...]I noticed this to on my ipad air the yellow tint was on the left bottom side and I could only notice it on white pages for example safari[...]
I found on other ipad post that this Is the glue that hasn't dried yet as they are "fresh" out of the factory and this disappears after a few days. Anyway hopefully it gets sorted out and enjoy they ipad!
But maybe other thing

I've sent the pics to Mike at MPC Stuff, hopefully he'll know what this might be and whether it's likely to disappear eventually. I read about the ipad glue thing and there does seem to be a general attitude that most LCD displays exhibit this problem to some degree, especially cheap ones, I'll see what happens over the next few days.

Just checked the Touch that is on display at the place I work at. After running 8 hours, no signs of staining. So I think heat is not the problem. Looks defective to me... :?
