So I've always just been a writer, and for christmas, I decided I was going to dwell into the art of making music. I had a small budget to start with, since I'm new I didn't want to blow a load on something amazing I wouldn't know how to use, so I bought an MPK Mini 2. I've been toying with a lot of different VST plugins, and I just bought Pro Studio Kit, and MPC horns (Because the ones you get with buying the MPK 2 suck..). I tried to put them in my VST folder just like other plugins, but they don't show up. Is there something I'm missing, or is this about to be a huge face palm post..?

Hi, I just replied to your email to me, here's a copy:

"The sample packs are 100% compatible with MPC Essentials, but they are not VST plugins, they are sample packs, you need to load them like any other program file using the MPC Browser. So extract them from the downloaded zip file, transfer them to a preferred location on your hard drive (e.g. the ‘MPC’ folder, or your desktop, or the place you would normally store kits and sample packs), and use the browser to navigate to their location. Then load the XPM files provided."

Let us know if you get any problems, but make sure you sit down with the provided manual to get to grips with the basics of operating MPC Essentials :)
