Hello.

I've recently came upon excellent software MPCMaid and found out that
it's just a few steps from being perfect. So I decided to dust off the source
code and take a stab at fixing those last few things that annoyed me.

Here's the change-log:
  • Improved beatslicer! Left mouse click selects a marker & mouse wheel adjusts
it's position, playing the slice doesn't block the application.
  • Copy & Paste pad parameters with Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V or with right mouse button!
  • Command line interface! Now you can assign MPCMaid to open PGM files in your
    file browser.
  • Better handling of audio playback. Fix lags & crashes on pulseaudio, limit
    the number of audio lines.
  • Minor bugs and annoyances. Missing image in splash screen, quit button quits
all windows, fix sample loading on case-sensitive systems, ...

If anyone here uses MPCMaid, can you give it a try and maybe suggest what more
could be fixed or added? Or just what would *you* like to see in this application.

Thank you for any suggestions!

You can grab it here:

or

(Note that you still need to have Java installed to run the EXE).

Great, thanks!

The ability to zoom in and out of the waveform would come in handy for longer samples.

EDIT: Was about to request being able to nudge markers using a modifier + left/right, so we wouldn´t need to use the mouse for precise chopping. Turns out it´s already possible!

This unexpected update is great! I noticed some small malfunctions have been corrected... this application becomes more and more pleasant to use ....!

For applications that I would find (if technically possible): the ability to insert longer samples in the "slice" section....
