Mac/MPC1000 CF card compatibility issues please help!

Hey guys Im using an MPC1000, New Lexar card reader and a Mac on Yosemite 10.10.5. New Kingston memory card. The computer reads my card when its formatted by the Mac, but when I format with the MPC neither of my Macs will see the card. Any help out there? Thanks. I just want to transfer my sample library to the CF. Is it an O.S issue? Any help out there? Its really doing my head in and might have to give and and sell the MPC! Thanks D

yeah don't mac format your card at all. Use the MPC formatting function, then attach the USB to the MPC while card is in the MPC and use the USB transfer mode. Your mac will now see the card in the MPC when it mounts

I'm just starting to use an MPC1000, and given I actually have a Card Reader, I'm pretty sure I would have run into this issue sooner or later.
