Playback through the MPC2000 using the Korg Triton Extreme

Does anyone know how to record to the MPC2000 when playing a riff such as piano or whatever other than recording it as a sample. Is there away to sit down at the piano and record straight to the MPC other than sampling each individual note? Help!

I have Triton extreme, mpc2kxlse2 and mpc4k.

I midi one of the mpc's to triton., 4k right now but I can do this same thing with either mpc.

I route all audio to audio interface and into computer daw, reaper.

I currently sequence on 4k, I play keys on triton, drums on mpc.
